Beautiful, Hidden Treasure
Chota Falls Estate is gorgeous and was the venue of our dreams. The chapel and tuscan style villas are all charming, classic, and have lots of natural character and beautiful detail that is not as present in run-of-the-mill, cookie-cutter wedding venues. The staff is warm and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend the mirror image of what we imagined it would be. This venue provides just the right amount of a rustic, mountain feel while being timeless and elegant. We received compliment after compliment for our choice of venue, with multiple guests inquiring how we even found the place. Chota Falls was an absolute dream.

Beautiful Chapel Venue
We cannot let another day go by without posting a review of this amazing wedding venue. Our daughter's December 2022chapel wedding was absolutely beautiful, complete with candles, white lights, and ringing chapel bells. Our daughter had wanted to get married in a white chapel, and this picturesque chapel in the mountains checked all of the boxes. Lawanna and Henry gave our daughter so much personalized attention. they spent an entire afternoon with her, planning the menu items, the florals, and the tableware. The private tasting allowed our daughter to select her favorite foods. The venues we had previously explored seemed like "wedding factories;" however, we were happy to find that at Chota Falls Estate, this was not at all the case. On the contrary, they focused completely on our daughter's wedding from Friday through Sunday, for an entire wedding weekend! The wedding party and family stayed in chalets on the property, and this was another one of our daughter's favorite things about this wedding venue. The groomsmen really liked the game room in their chalet, and there was even a bonfire for family and friends to enjoy after the wedding. Henry outdid himself with the florals at the reception. Our guests mentioned that it looked like a winter wonderland! Many of them also commented about the stunning waterfall which was lit up at night. The reception was energetic, to say the least, and the staff members were attentive, polite, and professional. They were quick to fill our water glasses and to meet the needs of our 194 guests. The vendors were awesome and worked seamlessly with the others. We could not have asked for a better celebration, and we strongly recommend Chota Falls Estate!

Gorgeous and Perfect
Chota Falls is gorgeous on it’s own; however, Henry elevates the natural beauty with his designs. Lawanna made sure my day ran smoothly and perfectly. I cannot thank them enough for giving me my fairy tale wedding. They are experienced and professional. Highly recommend!

Lawanna and Henry are AMAZING! They took care of food, decor, and so much more! We are so thankful for all they did. Renting the entire venue was exactly what we wanted- it was a true vacation for all guests. Such an amazing property! We didn’t want to leave!

Chota Falls made our wedding amazing!
Chota Falls is everything I dreamed of in a wedding venue. The venue itself is gorgeous - both the natural setting and the building. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Falls Room, our ceremony in the Chapel, and the reception in the Villa Campania. Each was amazing and highlighted by Henry's beautiful decor. I only showed Henry two or three pictures and he got it right away - everything looked exactly the way I pictured it! Lawanna was a dream to work with during the planning process and helped us think through all of the little details that we never would have thought of on our own. On the day of, the staff was so professional and everything went perfectly - and the best part was, I didn't have to do anything! Having the venue to ourselves for the weekend made things so convenient and meant getting to spend time with friends and family that otherwise I would not have been able to see as much. I would absolutely choose Chota again and can't recommend them enough!

Chota Falls equals the perfect wedding
Lawanna and Henry Luther as well as Omar and Jorge were exceptional to work with. They listened to our wants and needs, and provided everything they said they would. On the wedding weekend they were calm, attentive, ever-present, and super efficient. Their service and accommodations couldn't have been better, and their sweet, flexible demeanor made everything go smoothly. I highly recommend Chota Falls to any group for their event!

We had our daughter's wedding at Chota Falls October 2023. It was a wonderful event with the ceremony in front of the stunning waterfall. Lawanna and Henry were amazing to work with, giving advice and perfectly executing the flow of the wedding, reception, decor and flowers. Arlene did a superb with all of the food. We had so many compliments on the delicious reception and wedding menus. The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional the entire weekend. Our family loved the onsite villas and the beauty of this property. I highly recommend this venue in all categories: helpful, easy to work with, amazing food, fantastic setting and courteous staff. You will be delighted with your choice of Chota Falls.

What can I say? We absolutely made the right choice to have our wedding at Chota Falls. Lawanna and Henry are the dream team and made our wedding vision come to life! We also got married at the beginning of the pandemic before everything got really crazy, and they didn’t bat an eye! They (and their team) were professional and always willing to help and go the extra mile. I wish we could do it all over again! It was the perfect weekend at the most beautiful venue!

Lawanna is the consummate planner and Henry will get to know the bride before he plans her floral presentation. He does a casual interview and nailed it for our bride & groom who are very artistic and especially particular about color. We had plenty of room for both families to stay on property with the bridal party for a fantastic 3-day celebration. Additional hotel accommodations are close by for remaining guests. They can make recommendations for other non hotel accommodations as well. They even pointed us to a brunch venue for Sunday. Not one detail was ignored by the entire staff. We still look back and count how blessed we were to find Chota Falls.

We fell in love with Chota Falls from the moment we found it! There is something to walking the grounds for the first time that gives you this warm feeling. My husband and I planned our wedding on our own and were often feeling out of our element. Lawanna, Henry, and the entire Chota Falls staff walked us through every step and made sure we felt comfortable with each decision. Once our wedding day came, this place kicks into high gear! Always someone to make sure you are taken care of, little extra touches that just brought everything together, and the most beautiful place to begin our new lives together. You truly do feel like the favorite couple at Chota Falls!

Such a magical venue! The couple who manages the venue, Henry and Lawanna, are so kind and down to earth yet organized and great at making your wedding vision come to life. We had our reception and ceremony at this venue and we got so many compliments of how beautiful it was! It's tucked in the mountains and is so nice to have cabins onsite as well as all the events for the weekend.

This venue was amazing from the start. The beauty of this venue surpassed my dreams. I was awed by the gorgeous scenery from the moment I stepped out of my car. Henry and Lawanna were both so welcoming from the very beginning. The food was OUTSTANDING. Lawanna did an incredible job organizing the whole weekend. Henry's decor and floral arrangements were absolutely breathtaking. I love this venue. We also went with thier preferred photographer and WOW! Cariad Photography did an incredible job capturing our day. I would not change one single thing about our day.

I didn’t have to stress When my husband got transferred to Michigan for work, our big day became a destination wedding for us! Lawanna and Henry were so great. They worked with us from a distance, and made me feel like everything would be exactly like I requested, and it was. We had the ceremony in the beautiful chapel, and it was amazing.
